Ground Cover Fabrics

Created from sturdy polypropylene, our lightweight ground cover materials provide moisture and weed control in commercial applications, greenhouses, outdoor areas and uncovered plantings.  These durable fabrics are UV stabilized, air permeable and an ecologically safe alternative to the use of chemical herbicides. The material is available in weights from 2.2 to 3.2 ounces and can be cut to any custom size or shape.

Landscape Fabric

Designed with cost-conscious horticulturists in mind, our landscape fabric is both  hydrophilic and treated for water permeability.  These impervious fabrics block moisture and repel weeds and are  the proven choice among professionals. These materials are available in weights ranging from 1 ounce to 3.5 ounces.

One of our superior landscape fabrics is our Typar material.  Typar offers unparalleled permeability allowing moisture, air and nutrients to pass through while chocking unwanted seeds and the weeds they bring. Typar is guaranteed for 10 years when properly installed and maintained.

Plant Protection Cloth

Plant protection fabrics are typically used in the early spring and late fall to extend the growing season in slightly inclement weather. Acme offers a complete line of non-woven plant-protection fabrics. These versatile line of fabrics bolster larger and more productive yields by sheltering plants from frost, wind, insects and excessive sunlight.  These engineered fabrics can raise the temperatures underneath them  by up to 10  degrees helping to  extend the  harvest season. These fabrics  are designed to hold in heat, yet allow rain to pass through providing needed moisture and humidity  Plant protection fabrics  can be employed to accelerate  seed germination time by 30%.
